Kuntoutusyrittäjät is the therapy entrepreneur’s own support office, representing over 800 member companies across Finland.
As a member, you gain access to templates for legally required documents, high-quality legal and business advisory services, member discounts on key services, and up-to-date information about changes in the rehabilitation sector. At the same time, we advocate for entrepreneurs’ interests in municipalities, wellbeing services counties, the Social Insurance Institution (Kela), regulatory authorities, and national decision-making in Parliament.
Most of our members are small companies with 1–3 professionals who provide local rehabilitation services to their clients. Our membership covers a wide range of therapy fields – the largest being physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, and psychotherapy – but also smaller specialties such as neuropsychological rehabilitation, podiatry, hearing rehabilitation, nutrition therapy, music therapy, and equine-assisted therapy.
We have an in-depth understanding of the rehabilitation sector’s operating environment: Kela’s rehabilitation services, the practices of wellbeing services counties and insurance companies, the requirements of social and healthcare entrepreneurship, and the opportunities for business development.

Our experts provide practical support for your company’s daily operations, including regulatory issues, employment matters, contracts, and financial questions. All our advisors are specialized in rehabilitation entrepreneurship. When needed, we can also assist your clients with questions related to patients’ rights.
